On 25 December 2011, there were bomb attacks on churches in Nigeria.

The group Boko Haram, said to be linked to the CIA and Mossad, has said that it carried out the attacks.

Over the Christmas period, in Indonesia, millions of Moslems will be protecting both Christians and churches.

H.M. Nuruzzaman, of the world's biggest Moslem organisation, Nahdlatul Ulama, said a total of 2.6 million Moslems have been prepared for the deployment.

Members of TNI and Indonesia’s special forces, Kopassus, regularly went to his shop for repairs and just to hang out.

As a result, GAM claimed he was a TNI lackey and burned down his shop and house in 1997.

Phone records also indicated that Sugiarto called Fauzi Hasbi seven times before the bombings.

Hasbi is a leader of Jemaah Islamiyah, but Tempo outed him as an Indonesian government agent.

In 2005, two years after Hasbi’s death, the Australian television program SBS Dateline provided additional evidence of Hasbi’s long-time links to the TNI.

Fasbi also called Jacob Tanwijaya, a businessman well connected with the TNI, 35 times.

Professor Wangari Maathai (Nobel laureate and environment ‎alist) was born in the central highlands of Kenya in 1940.

Libya arrests Arab 'network' for destabilising country

TRIPOLI: Libyan authorities have arrested dozens of members of a "network" of Arab nationals allegedly seeking to destabilise the country, the official Jana news agency reported Saturday.

Those detained in several Libyan cities were members of a "foreign network (and were) trained to damage Libya's stability, the safety of its citizens and national unity."

Sources close to the investigation, quoted by the agency, said the group included Tunisian, Egyptian, Sudanese, Palestinian, Syrian and Turkish citizens.

Those arrested were "charged with inciting acts of looting and sabotage, such as burning hospitals, banks, courts, prisons, police stations and offices of the military police, as well as public buildings and private properties, according to plans drawn up earlier," Jana said.

Noting that "certain Libyan cities have been the scene of acts of sabotage and destruction since Tuesday," Jana said the suspects sought to "take arms from police stations and the military police and use them."

"Sources close to the investigation have not ruled out Israel being behind the network," the news agency added.

In 1991, the CIA's Muslim Brotherhood began pressing more strongly for a strict Islamic state.

In 1999, Mubarak visited China.

He signed a joint communique with Chinese President Jiang Zeming on establishing a strategic and cooperative relationship between Egypt and China.

In 2002: Mubarak denounced Israel

Mubarak made a televised speech bitterly condemning Israel and accusing it of using state terrorism to crush the Palestinians.

Mubarak said that following their barbaric and systematic aggression, the Israelis were in the process of destroying evidence of the horrendous crimes perpetrated under the pretext of fighting terrorism.

In 2003: Mubarak opposed the Iraq invasion.

In 2003: Israel protested Egypt's use of unmanned aerial vehicles, drones, to spy on Israeli military facilities.

6. Kagame invited in 2000 evangelical missionaries trained by Pastor Rick Warren.

Warren was chosen by Barack Obama to give the invocation at his presidential inauguration.

Kagame was trained at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, and has received steady US support.

7. Only the Kagame forces seem to have killed on a systematic and planned basis.

And their killings were played down by the UN and United States.

The car bomb explosions killed eight people in Lagos, Nigeria's capital.

MEND, Nigeria's Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta, Nigeria's biggest rebel militia, warned it had planted bombs.

Reportedly, MEND has struck at off-shore oil installations.

In 2009, an amnesty was agreed with rebels in the Delta.

MEND may have been infiltrated by a certain group.

Orji Kalu, linked to a mysterious death. He may be Babangida's running mate.

The CIA may want Ibrahim Babangida standing as the presidential candidate and Orji Uzor Kalu as his running mate.

General Ibrahim Babangida ruled Nigeria from his coup against Muhammadu Buhari in 1985 until his departure in 1993.

Allegedly, Babangida is a CIA asset.

Reportedly, Abdulmutallab, the 23-year-old Nigerian 'underwear bomber', bound for Detroit, was doing the work of the CIA and Mossad.

Former dictator Ibrahim Babangida and Kalu may be CIA operatives (Moshood Abiola too) who assisted the US, with drug trafficking.

If Nigeria becomes balkanised (broken up along tribal lines) by 2015 or earlier as predicted by the CIA, the US will use its AFRICOM to protect the oil-wells.

In 1986, the Time Magazine reported that during the Reagan administration, the U.S had the elite commando unit, the SEALS, dispatched to several different countries for covert activities.

This unit was in Nigeria in August 1985, during the week that Babangida overthrew Muhammadu Buhari.

After the coup, the CIA cut a deal with Babangida, where Nigeria was used as a major drug transit and money laundering center for the proceeds of the CIA drug trade.

The phony or rogue bank, BCCI (Bank of Credit and Commerce International) was used to launder the proceeds of the drug business and take them out of the country.

Babangida’s loot left the country through this bank. Remember that branches of this bank were everywhere in Lagos and the North.

Journalist Dele Giwa stumbled on this information about drugs and was about to break the news when, in 1966, he was killed by a mail bomb.

It was during Babangida’s regime that most of the wealth was looted.

"Monumental kleptocrat and notorious dictator" General Sani Abacha, President of Nigeria from 1993 to 1998. He was trained at the Defence Officers cadet Training College in Aldershot, England.

Abacha and Abiola may have been killed with the assistance of the CIA.

The only leader that Nigerian people ever elected was Abiola. The others were either influenced by foreign powers in collusion with corrupt politicians and the military.

Moshood Abiola (1937 – 1998) ran for the presidency in 1993, and won, but remained President-Elect till his death, as he was denied his mandate when the election results were annulled by the preceding military president Ibrahim Babangida.

Nigeria needs the likes of Nuhu Ribadus, Gani Fawhinmis, Tai Solarins, Mohammed Buharis and Babatunde Idiagbons.

Most of Nigeria's problems, especially the Niger Delta, can be traced back to LONDON AND WASHINGTON, through their multinational corporations.

In South Africa, in October 2010, politically connected businessman Kenny Kunene spent a vast fortune on his 40th birthday.

Zwelinzima Vavi was at one time a child labourer.

Now he is General Secretary of the Congress of South African Trade Unions.

He has just crticised some of South Africa's "predatory elite" for "spitting in the faces of the poor" while guzzling "sushi... served from the bodies of half naked ladies."

Vavi's comments target wealthy relatives of both President Zuma and Nelson Mandela.

According to Trade Unions boss Vavi, "Why sweat, when political connections and greasing the hand of those in political office can make you an instant billionaire? How has Mugabe managed to stay in power in Zimbabwe?

On 30 August 2010, The Independent (UK) reported that Tony Blair secretly courted Mugabe in an effort to win trade deals for Britain.

Mugabe committed "crimes against humanity" when thousands of Matabeleland civilians were killed by the Zimbabwe army's Fifth Brigade in 1983-87.

A Foreign Office briefing to Blair said the advantages of meeting Mugabe outweighed human rights concerns.

In 1997, Blair met Mugabe in Edinburgh and was told that Britain should fund the Mugabe 'land reforms'.

But, certain other powerful people also wanted to be pals with Mugabe.

In 2000, Mugabe declared that Blair's government is "the gay government of the gay United Kingdom".

So, who keeps Mugabe in power?

China has investments in Zimbabwe's agricultural and mining sectors.

China and Zimbabwe do trade with each other, but, Chinese president Hu Jintao did not visit Zimbabwe on his February 2007 tour of southern Africa.

Could Mossad have a friend in Nicholas van Hoogstraten, a gentleman from the UK?

Nicholas van Hoogstraten, who was friends with Tiny Rowland, of the London and Rhodesian Mining Company.[4], is a pal of Robert Mugabe.

In 2009, it was reported that Hoogstraten had been "a generous contributor to Mr Mugabe’s Zanu (PF) party and (had) bought into several large state-owned companies."[2]

Hoogstraten is believed to have homes in Barbados, St Lucia, Florida, Cannes and Zimbabwe.

Nicholas van Hoogstraten was once convicted for ordering a grenade attack on the home of a Jewish business pal.

In 1999, Mohammed Raja was shot dead by two men identified as Mr van Hoogstraten's henchmen.

Hoogstraten was sent to jail but was 'mysteriously' freed five months later.

Not all journalists work for the CIA.

On 11 July 2010 there were bomb blasts in Kampala, in Uganda, which killed 76 people.

The bombings were linked to the Somali militia al-Shabaab, which reportedly has links to al Qaeda, which reportedly is run by the CIA.

Ugandan troops are involved in Somalia.

The bombings seemed designed make Ugandans want to continue to fight inside Somalia, on behalf of the Americans and Israelis.

The USA and Israel want to control the Horn of Africa.

Journalist Timothy Kalyegira posted a story at The Uganda Record on July 12 that challenged the official government explanation of the 11 July 2010 bombings.

"His story insinuated that the Uganda government could have had a hand in the bombings."

1. In 1983, a group of rebels (the NRA) was blamed for allegedly bringing down a helicopter carrying the Ugandan army chief of staff, Maj. General David Oyite-Ojok.

The rebels (the NRA) claimed responsibility for the assassination.

"Many years later, enough facts have emerged to indicate that it was not the NRA that shot down the helicopter; nor, for that matter, was it shot down."

2. Somalia's Al-Shabab militia have claimed that they carried out the four bomb blasts in Kampala on the night of the World Cup final, on 11 July 2010.

There was a "lack of detail and conviction in their claim of responsibility."

3. Near where the Kampala bombings took place there are huge diesel generators that supply electricity to most of Kampala.

This power station is lightly guarded.

If al-Shabaab wanted to cause real damage, they would have attacked the electricity power station.

Profits from diamonds in Sierra Leone were allegedly used by the CIA and its friends to help finance 9 11.

Charles Taylor who reportedly has links to the CIA

According to an article in the Boston Globe by Washington correspondent Bryan Bender: "Al Qaeda allegedly paid Taylor for protection and then joined him in the African diamond trade, raising millions of dollars for terrorist activities, according to UN war crimes documents." Sierra Leone is reported to be the least developed country in the world, in spite of having diamonds and rich soil (Life on 70 cents a day ).

Taylor reportedly sponsored Foday Sankoh's brutal Revolutionary United Front as a means to destabilise Sierra Leone.

Robertson

According to a 2 June 1999, article in The Virginian-Pilot, Charles Taylor had extensive business dealings with televangelist Pat Robertson. (Taylor and Pat Robertson )

According to the article, Taylor gave Robertson (who also had business dealings with dictator Mobutu Sese Seko of Zaire) the rights to mine for diamonds in Liberia's mineral-rich countryside.

According to two Operation Blessing pilots who reported this incident to the state of Virginia for investigation in 1994, Robertson used his Operation Blessing planes to haul diamond-mining equipment to Robertson's mines in Liberia, despite the fact that Robertson was telling his 700 Club viewers that the planes were sending relief supplies to the victims of the genocide in Rwanda.

The subsequent investigation by the state of Virginia concluded that Robertson diverted his ministry's donations to the Liberian diamond-mining operation

Allegedly, Pat Robertson has links to the CIA.

• The Family walked for days across the desert to bring news to outside world.
• The Bushmen were told that the government does not care if they starve to death.

Three Bushmen, including one child, have been shot and wounded in recent days by Botswana police during incidents designed to intimidate the Bushmen still surviving inside the Central Kalahari Game Reserve and force them out once and for all.

Kekailwe (aged 7) was shot in the stomach as the police arrested his father when he refused to let them search his hut without a warrant.

In a separate incident, Kesodilo Ntwayamoga was shot from behind in each leg as he stood with both hands raised.

Witnesses confirmed that police were trying to force him to admit to hunting.

In the third incident, Mokgakalaga Gaoberekwe was shot in the jaw on 24 September as he and others attempted to enter the Game Reserve to take water and food to their families.

He is badly wounded and still recovering in hospital.

The Bushman party, including several babies and children, was attacked by heavily armed police and soldiers under the personal command of Sydney Pilane, the attorney acting for the government in the high court case in which the Bushmen are claiming rights to their ancestral land.

The police fired teargas and bullets at the unarmed Bushmen. Many were beaten and imprisoned for several days.

The group included the 2005 alternative Nobel prize-winner, Roy Sesana, who was unaware that he and his Bushman organization had won the award.

The Bushmen have now been charged with 'unlawful assembly'.

Police have been trying to prevent Bushmen returning to their reserve.

The Bushmen already in the reserve are forbidden to hunt and gather, have had their water supply cut off, and are now threatened with starvation after the government claimed their goats were diseased (a claim rubbished by a group of eminent international vets).

Officials forcibly removed all goats from the reserve earlier this week.

Today, a small group of Bushmen emerged after evading the police who had surrounded their huts and walking for three days through the drought-stricken desert.

Kangotla Kanyo said today, "The others and I came out of the reserve to tell the outside world that we are really suffering with thirst and hunger.

"The police are camped at our settlement and we are not allowed to gather or dig anything to eat.

"The policeman called Dibuile told us, 'If you die, the government doesn't care. This is the time to show you that you are nothing.'

"The police said that 'we have to suffer thirst and hunger so that we will leave the reserve.'"

Officials told the Bushmen in 2002 that they had to abandon their land because diamonds had been discovered there.

All Botswana's diamond mines are run by De Beers, which retains rights to a large deposit in the reserve.

Stephen Corry, Survival's director, said today, 'Botswana's President Mogae has drawn a veil across the great sand-face of the Kalahari so that his henchmen can bully the Bushmen in secrecy.

'But the veil has not muffled the shots which spilled the blood of a child and two unarmed men guilty of wanting to live in peace on their ancient land.

'These shots - ordered by a lawyer - have killed all pretence of a democratic Botswana.

'People who care about the Bushmen should not support this regime by buying De Beers's diamonds or by holidaying there. These diamonds are bought with the blood of the Bushmen.'

Two South African farm workers accused of murdering Terre'Blanche, on 3 April 2010, claim that Terre'Blanche made homosexual advances.

According to a lawyer for the accused: "My instructions from my client are that there was some sodomy going on and it sparked the murder of Mr Terre'Blanche."

The accused farm workers are aged 28 and 15.

Terre'Blanche was found dead in his bed with his trousers around his knees.

The lawyer, representing the older worker, said that Terre'Blanche had plied both workers with alcohol.

The 15-year-old's lawyer said that "something shocking happened".

In the 1980s Terre'Blanche was implicated in reports of a sex crime.

Ouare comes from Burkino Faso.

Ouare was sold to traffickers by his uncle.

Ouare was taken to Ghana and sold as a cocoa picker.

He has not been paid any money.

The BBC has seen documents which show that in September 2009, the Fairtrade cocoa co-operative in Ghana, which supplies Cadbury and Divine, was getting some of its cocoa from farming communities that were found to be using the worst forms of child labour. In the Ivory Coast, many children on cocoa farms don't go to school.

Such children get one meal a day and a roof over their head, in return for their work.

US SPECIAL FORCES IN THE CONGO; COUP IN NIGER

In February 2010 we learn that U.S. special forces have begun training Congolese troops.

These same Congolese troops have been accused of attacking civilians and committing extreme abuses.

Maurice Templesman was one of the top funders of Barrack Obama.

Families like Templesman, Oppenheimer, Gertler and Steinmetz are associated with mining companies in the Congo.

In 2007 there was fighting in the Congo between Jean-Pierre Bemba and Joseph Kabila. Each wanted to be the one who could make money from deals with the mining companies.

Most ordinary Congolese earn less than a dollar a day and any attempts at strikes are likely to be put down with violence.

Declassified memos and cables between former U.S. presidents and State Department officials over the last four decades named Mr. Tempelsman with direct input in the destabilization of Congo, Sierra Leone, Angola, Zimbabwe, Namibia, Rwanda and Ghana.

He earned his stripes with western powers in the overthrow of Ghana's first elected president, Kwame Nkrumah, and the CIA-backed assassination of Congo's first-elected president, Patrice Lumumba, documents reveal.

As late as 1997, Mr. Tempelsman was named in the ongoing cover-up of U.S.-CIA covert support of the former president of Zaire (now the Democratic Republic of the Congo [DRC]), Mobuto Sese Seko, who died in exile in 1997 after the overthrow of his regime by recently assassinated Congolese President Laurent Kabila.

Mr. Tempelsman is named as the agent in charge of selling off the gross excess of the strategic diamond stockpile in the United States that was used to fund the deceased dictator's exploits.

On Christmas of 1975, Macías had 150 alleged coup plotters executed to the sound of a band playing Mary Hopkins' tune Those Were the Days in a national stadium.[13]

Reportedly, Equatorial Guinea is like the USA and UK in that it goes in for the torture of prisoners, control of the media, and widespread corruption.

Nguema's playboy son, Teodorin, has a '$35m house' in California, and an American visa.

Most of Equatorial Guinea's people live in dire poverty.

British mercenary, Simon Mann, attempted to topple Nguema in a coup in 2004.

Nguema announced that the plot to overthrow him involved the intelligence services of the United States, the United Kingdom and Spain, and Mark Thatcher and Simon Mann.

In 2006, President Obiang was warmly greeted by Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, who called him a "good friend". [10]

Obiang had a close relationship with Washington DC-based Riggs Bank.

The Riggs Bank is alleged to have connections to the Bush family and the Russian mafia.

In July 2004, the United States Senate published an investigation into Riggs Bank, into which most of Equatorial Guinea's oil revenues had been paid.

The Senate report showed that at least $35 million were siphoned off by Obiang, his family and senior officials of his regime. Inner City Press.[22]

On August 9, 2006, Harper's Magazine published an article by Ken Silverstein highlighting Obiang's recent connections with the US State Department and Independence Federal Savings Bank.[23]

January 19, 2006 -- With reports of over 200 contacts between convicted GOP lobbyist Jack Abramoff and the Bush White House, there is also renewed interest in what "neighbor" Abramoff was referring to in his July 28, 2003 letter, written on Greenberg Traurig LLP stationery, to Gabon's President Omar Bongo concerning a proposed visit to the White House by the oil-rich African dictator.

Abramoff was paid $9 million by Bongo for arranging the visit. Abramoff is no stranger to representing African dictators. His clients have included the late Zaire (Congo) strongman Mobutu Sese Seko and Angola's assassinated rebel leader Jonas Savimbi. Indicted White House aide David Safavian, an Abramoff associate, also represented Bongo.

In his letter to Bongo, Abramoff states:

"I have been cautiously working to obtain a visit for the President . . . to see President Bush, the Congress and policy and opinion makers in the United States. As you know, we were, in advance of the war in Iraq, able to secure a tentative date for this meeting, however, the war cancelled all such scheduled visits, with the exception of the critical US war allies.

Since the time of the war, we have been discussing a rescheduling of the meeting.

Our firm was approached by a neighboring nation which also desired such a meeting, and indeed much more than a meeting. Of course, our firm's main strength is not in just setting up meetings, but in changing and impacting US policy, so to the neighbor, the meeting is important, but merely the tip of the iceberg.

The neighbor has offered to put up the resources which are necessary to not only secure a meeting, but more importantly, to commence a policy effort in Washington which could impact America's Africa policy in limited ways. These resources are substantial and would be used to build a support network for the neighbor which would enable the decision makers to move the neighbor up on the priority list. . . .

I suggested that I visit Gabon after my trip to Scotland in mid August, but that in order for me to preserve this and be able to turn down the neighbor's offer, we had to commence the representation, even in small part, perhaps ten percent . . . . Please bear in mind that the neighbor's proposal was to pay the entire amount up front."

According to informed sources in Washington, the "neighbor" referred to by Abramoff was oil-rich Equatorial Guinea, run by brutal dictator Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo.

In March 2004, South African and Zimbabwean forces foiled a coup attempt by British and South African mercenaries against Obiang. Later, Mark Thatcher, the son of Margaret Thatcher, pleaded guilty to his involvement in the coup in a South African court. Abramoff has close links to friends and associates of Margaret Thatcher, having helped arrange meetings between her and GOP officials.

It was revealed that senior British, Spanish, and American defense and intelligence officials, including Bush administration officials Michael Westphal and Theresa Whelan, were involved in the coup plot. Amid rumors that Washington wanted Obiang out of power, Obiang wanted to make a pitch for friendlier contacts with the Bush administration. Hence, the outreach to Abramoff.

But Obiang also had close financial links to the now-defunct Riggs Bank, a bank for which George W. Bush's uncle, Jonathan Bush, served as a senior official over a number of years.

Shortly before the March 2004 coup attempt, Obiang was abruptly told to close his Riggs account during a visit to the bank in Washington and Obiang's Riggs' account manager Simon Kareri was subsequently fired by the bank and his computer and files were seized at his home by FBI agents. It was discovered that Riggs and Obiang were involved in an Obiang-run slush fund called Abayak SA that received and paid out large sums of cash for various "services."

Jonathan Bush ran a New Haven, Connecticut-based Riggs subsidiary called J. Bush & Co., a money management firm that later morphed into Riggs Investment Management Company (RIMCO). Federal investigators discovered that Riggs set up phony and deceptive accounts and dummy corporations in off-shore locations like the Bahamas.

Riggs was caught up in the Russian Mafia money laundering scandal through its stake in a Channel Islands company called Valmet.

That scandal involved jailed Russian oil tycoon Mikhail Khodorkovsky and the Bank of New York scandal involving key Russian Mafia figures tied to various Abramoff business dealings, including gambling casinos and Internet gambling.

In May 2005, after Khodorkovsky and his partner Platon Lebedev were convicted of tax evasion and fraud by a Russian court and sentenced to nine years in prison, George W. Bush immediately came to the defense of these Russian Mafia kingpins.

Israeli arms dealers and security companies are negotiating a contract to train Equatorial Guinea's presidential guard...

A Foreign Ministry source confirmed to Haaretz that the ministry was aware of... the intensive activity of Israeli arms companies in Equatorial Guinea...

International human rights organizations said that if Israelis train Equatorial Guinea's presidential guard, it would help bolster one of Africa's most corrupt and tyrannical presidents...

A year ago, Israel Military Industries (IMI) sold Equatorial Guinea about $10 million worth of Shaldag Mk-II class Fast Patrol Boats manufactured by Israeli Shipyards.

An IMI representative declined to comment on the matter Thursday.

IMI is one of the companies competing for the contract to train the presidential guard.

An failed coup attempt took place in Equatorial Guinea... organized by British businessmen including Mark Thatcher, the son of Britain's former prime minister.The coup plotters were assisted by British, South African, Armenian and German mercenaries. Most of them were arrested and sentenced to long prison sentences in Equatorial Guinea, Zimbabwe and South Africa.

Following the coup attempt, Obiang approached Israeli weapon dealers and security companies for assistance.

In addition to IMI, Aeronautics Defense Systems of Yavne, which manufactures drones, is also active in Equatorial Guinea.

Several retired senior IDF officers, including Major General(res.) Avigdor Ben Gal, are on the Yavne company's board of directors...

The company was involved recently in controversial dealings in Ivory Coast, where a civil war is taking place...

Other Israeli businessmen are also known to be involved in business deals in Equatorial Guinea.

Equatorial Guinea, located in west Africa between Gabon and Cameroon, is a former Spanish colony and until a few years ago was considered one of the most under developed states on the continent. Following the discovery of large quantities of oil a few years ago, it has become one of Africa's largest oil producers. American, British, South African and Malaysian oil companies are operating in the country. IMI's boats are intended to secure the oil rigs at sea. Obiang rose to power in 1979 after reportedly killing his uncle, the reigning president. Human rights groups say his security forces regularly carry out murders and mass arrests, and torture prisoners.

Mohamed Camara was in charge of security at the Koundara military camp where the president was shot in the head.

1. In 1961 Congolese leader Patrice Lumumba was assassinated.

Belgian officials, backed by the CIA and a White House assasination order, carried out the assassination.

2. Oleg Deripaska is the boss of a company called Rusal.

In October 2009, Victor Boyarkin, a close associate of Deripaska, was in Paris where he was introduced to Guinean Government officials.

Guinea supplies bauxite to Russian aluminium smelters.

In Guinea, Rusal operates the Kindia bauxite mine.

3. In 2006, Rusal bought the Friguia alumina refinery for $19 million.

That deal was revoked in September 2009 on the ground that it was corrupt.

The real value of the refinery is said to be at least $240 million more than Rusal paid.

Rusal’s mines, refinery, and the rail line, port, and power station linked to them, are, together, one of the largest employers in the country.

The Dian-Dian bauxite concession, for which Rusal has mining rights, but which it has yet to dig, is the largest bauxite deposit in Guinea, probably in the world.

4. Chinese interests are reportedly in the running to buy the Friguia refinery.

Boyarkin has asked the Camara government for a reversal of the court ruling revoking Rusal’s ownership of Friguia.

Boyarkin and Deripaska have been talking with the French about Rusal’s multi-billion dollar debts to French banks.

5. Sources reveal that the French bankers are unhappy with measures being taken by Foreign Minister Bernard Kouchner.

Kouchner gave the order to close French schools in, and evacuate French nationals from, Guinea's capital, Conakry.

There is a suspicion in Paris that Kouchner is backing one of the Guinean opposition figures, Alpha Conde, head of the Rally of the Guinean People (RPG).

Conde and Kouchner have been friends since school days.

Kouchner has been attempting to rally international support for political sanctions, and possibly military intervention in Guinea.

There is a suspicion that Kouchner and Conde are plotting to depose Camara.

The banking sources say their interests in Guinea are threatened if they are seen in Guinea as backing Deripaska and Conde.

Reportedly the firm will help build ports, railway lines, power plants and low-cost housing.

Scary Tales of Tiny Gambia Being the Headquarters of the Mafia World

The Gambia is the international limelight again as the center of an international mafia ring.

In a masterpiece investigative report, The Wayne Madsen Report unraveled a network of weapons smugglers and mobsters operating in the heart of the Gambian Capital, working hand in hand with the Gambian leader, President Yahya Jammeh.

In reference to the Gambia, the report stated thus:

"There is also now interest in the activities of Richard T. Hines, the head of the powerful Republican lobbying firm RTH Consulting, Inc.

"Hines, a South Carolina native and a protege of the late GOP dirty trickmeister Lee Atwater, was one of the architects of the dirty tricks campaign by Bush against John McCain in the 2000 South Carolina primary.

"A confederate of Abramoff in the 1980s Reagan administration's covert support network for the Nicaraguan contras, Angolan UNITA guerrillas, and Afghan mujaheddin, Hines is active in various Confederacy resurgence organizations, many of which have clear racist agendas.

"However, that has not prevented Hines from becoming the lobbyist for Gambian dictator Yahya Jammeh, a military officer who overthrew Gambia's democratically-elected President Sir Dawda K. Jawara in a 1994 military coup supported by the United States Navy.

"Hines inherited the lobbying contract for Gambia from the eclectic Washington lobbyist Edward von Kloberg III, an individual who represented Mobutu Sese Seko of Zaire, Liberia's Samuel K. "Last May, von Kloberg took a swan dive off of a castle in Rome, allegedly committing suicide after a spat with a gay partner.

"The connections between Hines and Gambia are important since the small narrow West African country is also a major base of operations for notorious Russian international arms smuggler Viktor Bout.

"The Gambia is the headquarters for one of many of Bout's front companies -- companies that are used to smuggle everything from weapons to diamonds and mercenaries to international relief supplies.

"Bout and his associates were given Liberian diplomatic passports and, with Taylor's blessing and protection, they registered a number of their front companies in Monrovia, the Liberian capital.

"Taylor, who is now in exile in Nigeria, was a business partner with Christian Coalition founder Pat Robertson.

"Robertson's organization mentored both Ralph Reed and Richard Hines.

"According to British and Israeli intelligence sources, Taylor also enabled Al Qaeda to launder blood diamonds for cash through Liberia.

"Liberia and neighboring Sierra Leone were where Israeli mobsters engaged in business with Israeli gangsters who operated under the full protection of the Israeli Likud government.

"Before Likud began purging Mossad of experienced intelligence officers with ties to the Israeli Labor Party, the Israeli-Al Qaeda diamond financial connection in West Africa was being pointed out by those officers as suicidal for Israeli interests.

"However, Taylor and Bout had powerful interests in the United States: a combination of the Christian Right and pro-Likud organizations like the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC), both of which ignored and continue to ignore Israeli organized crime connections to Al Qaeda and terrorism.

"Robertson and Taylor were business partners in a Cayman Islands front company called Freedom Gold, Ltd.

"In fact, Freedom Gold bas headquartered at Robertson's CBN offices in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Robertson's African interests also crossed paths with Bout's in another country -- the former Zaire.

"Robertson's African Development Company used the cover of Robertson's tax-exempt "Operation Blessing" to ferry conflict diamonds out of civil war-ravaged Zaire (now Congo).

"A UN Security Council report dated November 30, 2005, lists Bout's Gambia New Millennium Air Company as having its address at the residence of Hines' client Jammeh: State House, Banjul, Gambia.

"The UN report states, 'The Director of this firm is Baba Jobe, who is already listed on the Liberia Sanctions Committee's assets freeze list. According to a commercial aviation database, the firm acted as a cover for Victor Bout's operations. Its one aircraft, a Russian-made passenger jet, was acquired from Centrafrican Airlines.'

"It is noteworthy that Hines's client, President Jammeh, just took possession of the Russian-made VIP presidential passenger jet, an Ilyushin IL-62 (C5-GNM) [Gambia] (formerly CCCP-86511 [USSR], RA-86511 [Russia], 3D-RTI [Swaziland], TL-ACL [Central African Republic]).

"And also of interest is the owner of the presidential aircraft: it is none other than Gambia New Millennium Air, the Bout-owned company listed on the UN Security Council freeze list and which is headquartered at Jammeh's State House in Banjul, the Gambian capital.

"In fact, the plane had been previously registered to Bout front companies in Swaziland and the Central African Republic.

" Bout, who flew arms and passengers from Dubai and other locations to Taliban-controlled Afghanistan prior to 9-11, is now providing air services in post-Taliban Afghanistan as well as U.S.-occupied Iraq.

"Bout's transactions with the Taliban were handled by Vial, Inc., a firm based in Delaware.

"One of Bout's closest associates is the Russian-Israeli Odessa-born crime boss Leonid Minin, an Israeli national who, according to the UN Security Council, travels on forged German passports as well as legal Israeli, Russian, Greek, and Bolivian passports under at least ten aliases.

"It is also noteworthy that many of Bout's operations are based in Eastern European countries that have been mentioned in association with the rendition and transporting of CIA prisoners.

"Bout's numerous Russian-built cargo and passenger planes have been seen at the same airports used by CIA flights.

"For example, Bright Aviation, a suspected Bout front, is based at Sofia Airport in Bulgaria.

"Bulgaria is believed to be one of the countries used by the CIA to house secret prisoners.

"Another Bout front, Moldtransavia SRL, is based in Chisinau, Moldova, another suspected stopover point for CIA flights.

"One Chisinau, Moldova-based Bout front company, Aerocom, which also does business as Air Mero, is contracted to fly for Kellogg, Brown & Root in Iraq and elsewhere.

"Aerocom has also been cited in UN and DEA reports for being involved in drug smuggling in Belize.

"Some law enforcement officials in the United States and Europe believe that the covert flights being operated by CIA contractors and Bout's companies in support of secret prisoner movement are also involved in smuggling drugs.

"After being subjected to news reports, Aerocom quickly changed its name last year."

Israeli officials are hoping for African arms contracts worth hundreds of millions of dollars.

Yossi Melman, an expert on Israel's security services, wrote in Haaretz that the "less publicized" aspect of the tour was boosting "defense exports," such as the arms deals worth $500 million that Israel has signed with Nigeria in recent years.

Melman wrote that an "even more secretive" goal was "the hope of developing intelligence ties and cooperation in the effort against ...Iran..."

Israeli intelligence has operated in Africa for many years.

Israelis have been active in training Africa armies, with weapons sold by Israel.

Melman wrote: "Secret funding from the United States Central Intelligence Agency was channeled by American trade unions to (Israel's) Histadrut labor federation …to finance various activities.

"Among other things, the money was used to post an impressive array of Mossad agents in the African states."

These activities, Melman wrote, "gave Mossad agents and Israeli Defense Forces officers an excuse to be involved in the internal affairs of African regimes."

Israelis were reportedly involved in military coups in Uganda and Zanzibar.

Israeli agents operate in countries such as Ethiopia, Kenya and Sudan.

Trade deal linked to Lockerbie bomber's release

Colonel Gaddafi's son, Seif al Islam travelled to Scotland to accompany Megrahi back to Libya.

Seif al Islam said on Libyan TV that Megrahi's release was linked to trade deals.

"In all commercial contracts, for oil and gas with Britain, [Megrahi] was always on the negotiating table," Mr Islam said in interview to Libyan TV channel Al Mutawassit taped on the flight back to Tripoli.

"All British interests were linked to the release of Abdelbaset al-Megrahi," he added.

Russia and Nigeria signed an agreement on March 2009 to cooperate in building nuclear reactors and jointly explore for uranium.

China is now Africa's second largest aid donor and trading partner, behind the United States.

The police detained the two boys and then issued a statement saying the boys had withdrawn their allegations.

The media is alleging presidential interference in the case.

A spokesman for Uganda's President Yoweri Museveni denied the president had become involved.

Allegedly, Yoweri Museveni is responsible for the death of 5.5 million africans- from Uganda, Rwanda, Sudan and Congo DRC.

Stephen O. Murray has written about sex in Sub-Saharan Africa.

Murray points out that most of what we know about traditional African societies was written in the last decade of the nineteenth century or later.

There are reports of homosexuality across every region of the continent.

The colonial era reports are reviewed in Murray and Roscoe's 'Boy-Wives and Female Husbands'.

A few examples:

In the central African Zande culture, before European conquest, it was regarded "as very sensible for a man to sleep with boys when women are not available or are taboo."

English anthropologist E. E. Evans-Pritchard was told that some Azande men had sex with boys "just because they like them."

The adult males paid the families of boy wives, just as they paid for female brides. The two slept together at night, "the husband satisfying his desires between the boy's thighs. When the boy grew up he joined the company and took a boy-wife in his turn. It was the duty of the husband to give his boy-wife a spear and a shield when he became a warrior. He then took a new boy-wife."

One commander, Ganga, told Evans-Pritchard that there were some men who, although they had female wives, still married boys. "When a war broke out, they took their boys with them...

If another man had relations with his boy, the husband could sue the interloper in court for adultery."

The South African Thonga provide another particularly well-documented instance of a boy-wife role.

A number of southern and western African societies also had female husbands, though whether these husbands had sexual relations with their wives is unclear in what has been written.

Gender-crossing homosexuality has been discussed as common in the (Nigerian) Hausa bori cult (and in Afro-Brazilian offshoots of west African spirit-possession religion).

Among the Maale of southern Ethiopia, some males crossed over to feminine roles. Called ashtime, these (biological) males dressed as women, performed female tasks, cared for their own houses, and apparently had sexual relations with men, according to Donald Donham.

One gave Donham a clear statement of the "third gender" conception: "The Divinity created me wobo, crooked. If I had been a man, I could have taken a wife and begotten children. If I had been a woman, I could have married and borne children. But I am wobo; I can do neither."

Among Swahili-speakers on the Kenya coast, particularly in the port of Mombasa, mashoga are transgendered prostitutes who have all the liberties of men and are also welcome in many contexts in which men are prohibited.

The paid partner usually takes the receptive role during intercourse, but it is likely that his inferiority derives from the fact that he is paid to provide what is asked for, rather than from his undertaking a particular sexual role. The one who pays is called the basha (derived from "pasha," a high-ranking official and the local term for the king in packs of playing cards).

Among the Fon, the predominant people in Dahomey (now Benin), Melville Herskovits in the 1930s reported that, after the age at which boys and girls may play together, "the sex drive finds satisfaction in close friendship between boys in the same group . . . . A boy may take the other 'as a woman,' this being called gaglgo, homosexuality. Sometimes an affair of this sort persists during the entire life of the pair".

Most of the reports of homosexual relations not involving differences in age or gender status involved young, unmarried men's sexual relationships with each other.

Kurt Falk wrote about an especially intimate bond of association, soregus, among the southeastern African Naman that included sex both between men and between women (with mutual masturbation the most common form of sex, but also males taking turns at anal penetrations and females using dildoes on each other).

An "exceptionally reliable" Nykakyusa (a people living around what is now the Tanzania/Zimbabwe border) reported to Monica Wilson in the early 1930s that male friends, who live in villages of age-mates when not out herding cattle, generally sleep together.

The Nykakyusa accepted that male friends who danced together would have sexual relations.

"Even if people see them in flagrante delicto, they say it is adolescence (lukulilo), all children are like that: they say that sleeping together and dancing is also adolescence," according to Wilson's elder. He reported that interfemoral intercourse is "what boys mostly do" and also reported anal and oral sex, ("some, during intercourse, work[ing] in the mouth of their friend, and hav[ing] an orgasm").

An Ovimbundu (in Angola) informant, told an ethnographer, "There are men who want men, and women who want women. . . . A woman has been known to make an artificial penis for use with another woman."

Among the Tswana (in addition to homosexuality among the men laboring in the mines), it was reported that back home "lesbian practices are apparently fairly common among the older girls and young women, without being regarded in any way reprehensible." Use of artificial penises was also reported among the Ila and Naman tribes of South Africa.

There are reports of age-differentiated roles in Lesotho. Relationships are initiated voluntarily by one girl who takes a liking to another and simply asks her to be her mummy or her baby, depending on their relative age, according to Judith Gay.

"The most frequently given reason for initiating a particular relationship was that one girl felt attracted to the other by her looks, her clothes, or her actions. . . . Sexual intimacy is an important part of these relationships." Over time, a Sotho may undertake both roles (with different partners) or play the same role with different partners.

Murray concludes:

With reports from hundreds of sub-Saharan African locales of male-male sexual relations and from about fifty of female-female sexual relations, it is clear that same-sex sexual relations existed in traditional African societies, though varying in forms and in the degree of public acceptance.

Much of this same-sex activity was situational or premarital, though there were long-term relationships, too.

The special Christian opposition toward homosexuality was carried to Africa by Europeans and stimulated denials that "the sin not named among Christians" existed among "unspoiled" Africans.

The fuel tanker then exploded.

Nizar may have been a patsy. Nizar's brother, Walid, was jailed for 12 years for 'having supplied Nizar with false papers and a satellite telephone'.

Of course, no Jews were killed.

Perez Trabelsi, head of Djerba’s large Jewish community, had left the synagogue for coffee just before the blast.

The people who died were 14 German tourists, five Tunisians and two French nationals.

In 2003, Christian Ganczarski, who prosecutors believe had links to al-Qaeda, was arrested in connection with the bombing.

Tunisia is full of history.

The Carthaginian Empire

If you go on holiday to Tunisia, it is worth learning a little bit about the Carthiginians, a people who allegedly went in for child sacrifice.

Tunisia was once ruled by the Carthaginians, who are thought to have come originally from the Lebanon area.

The Carthaginians are said to have come originaly from Phoenicia, also known as Canaan, where Lebanon is today.

In Sousse, Carthaginian crematoria contain the ashes of hundreds of 'murdered' children.

Allegedly, these children were strangled in sacrifice to the gods in times of national or personal misfortune.

Carthage was criticized by its neighbors for child sacrifice.

Plutarch (c. 46–120) mentions the practice. The Hebrews mention the practise.

Both the Romans and the Hebrews saw the Phoenicians as enemies and so they cannot necessarily be trusted in this matter. It was King Herod "The Great Child Killer" who destroyed all the first born.

This building in Monastir was one of the filming locations for Monty Python's Life Of Brian.

It has been argued that the reports of Carthaginian child sacrifice were Roman inventions, used to justify the Roman destruction of Carthage.

These Carthaginian cemeteries may have been used as graves for stillborn infants or children who died very early.

In a single child cemetery called the Tophet, an estimated 20,000 urns were deposited between 400 BC and 200 BC, with the practice continuing until the early years of the Christian period.

The urns contained the charred bones of babies and 2-year-olds.

But most the child urns found in Carthage contain bones of fetuses, therefore of still born babies.

These remains have been interpreted by some to mean that after the birth of stillborn babies, the parents would sacrifice their youngest child.

In bad times (war, poor harvests) cremations became more frequent.

Bad times might have inspired the Carthaginians to obtain divine intervention via child sacrifice.

Or bad times may simply have increased child deaths from natural causes.

Professor Piero Bartoloni, Head of the Department of Phoenician-Punic Archaeology at Universita' di Sassari, Italy, relates: "In ancient times, for every ten children that were born, seven died within the first year and out of the remained three, only one became an adult. Now I ask: is it reasonable that, with such a high level of infant mortality, these people killed their own children?"

According to those who criticised the Phoenicians, children were sacrificed to the god Baal Hammon and the godess Tanit.

According to the critics:

Carthaginians began to buy children for the purpose of sacrifice or even to raise servant children instead of offering up their own.

However, in times of crisis or calamity, like war, drought or famine, their priests demanded the flower of their youth.

Special ceremonies during extreme crisis saw up to 200 children of the most affluent and powerful families slain and tossed into the burning pyre.

The few Carthaginian texts which have survived make absolutely no mention of child sacrifice, though most of them relate to matters entirely unrelated to religion, such as the practice of agriculture.

In 146 B.C., Rome wiped the Carthaginian capital off the map.

Warren is being investigated by the U.S. Justice Department for allegedly raping women who claim he laced their drinks with a knock-out drug.

An affidavit says the first victim states she was raped by Warren in Sept. 2007 after being invited to a party at Warren's residence by U.S. embassy employees.

She told a State Department investigator that after Warren prepared a mixed drink of cola and whiskey, she felt unwell.

When she woke up the next morning, "she was lying on a bed, completely nude, with no memory of how she had been undressed."

She said she realized "she recently had engaged in sexual intercourse, though she had no memory of having intercourse."

According to the affidavit, a second alleged victim told a similar story, saying Warren met her at the U.S. embassy and invited her for a "tour of his home" where she said he prepared an apple martini for her "out of her sight."

The second victim said she suddenly felt faint and went to the bathroom.

She could see and hear, but she could not move, the affidavit says.

She told investigators Warren "was attempting to remove her pants."

The alleged victim said she remembers being in Warren's bed and asking him to stop, but that "Warren made a statement to the effect of 'nobody stays in my expensive sheets with clothes on.'"

She told investigators "as she slipped in and out of consciousness she had conscious images of Warren penetrating her vagina repeatedly with his penis."

Warren admitted there were photographs of the two women on his personal laptop.

U.S. officials found videos that appear to have been secretly recorded and show, they say, Warren engaged in sexual acts.

Officials say one of the alleged victims is seen on tape, in a "semi-conscious state."

As the station chief in Algiers, Warren may know quite a lot about the al Qaeda (al CIAda) group responsible for a wave of bombings in Algeria.

In the most serious incident, 48 people were killed in a bombing in Aug. 2008 in Algiers, blamed on the al Qaeda group.

The Algerian ambassador to the United Nations, Mourad Benmehid, said his government had not been notified by the U.S. of the rape allegations or the criminal investigation.

No charges have been filed.

There has been terrorism in Algeria for many decades.

According to an article entitled The Arc of Crisis various Nazis and spooks have been involved in Algeria.

Reportedly, what these Nazis and spooks believe in is a 'Strategy of Tension'.

The United States is building a huge military surveillance base at Tamanrasset in Algeria.

US forces are training the Algerian military.

Washington wants to provide Algiers with pilot-less drone planes.

This military base is a result of agreements signed between Washington and Algiers for oil industry development.
