Gabon's Bongo

In 2005, an investigation revealed that Abramoff offered to arrange a meeting between U.S. President George W. Bush and Bongo for the sum of 9 million USD.

The death has been announced of Gabon's President Omar Bongo Ondimba, who was born Albert Bernard Bongo.

He was one of the world's richest men.

Reportedly the Bongo family owned 33 houses and flats in Paris, with one mansion alone worth €18m.

3. Reportedly, Abramoff is linked to a Bongo associate in Washington, named Joe Slavik.

Slavik reportedly became a "Mr. Africa" in Washington lobbying and government circles.

4. Bongo is a Muslim and Freemason.
